Nigerians React as President Buhari Returns to Twitter After Ban | Daily Report Nigeria

Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react to President Muhammadu Buhari’s return to the platform.

Recall that Twitter was banned on June 4, 2021, after the platform deleted the President’s tweet.

The ban was however lifted on January 13, 2022.

While others returned to the platform, the president stayed away as he shared his last tweet on June 1, 2021.

He, however shared a tweet on to the platform on May 2, wishing Muslims a happy Eid-el-Fitr.

Nigerians were surprised to see him back on Twitter after 11 months and they had a lot to say.
