Two Female Commissioners Sworn-In By Kwara Govt

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara state has Sworn-In two female Commissioner nominees recently screened and confirmed by the Kwara State House of Assembly.

Harriet Adenike Oshatimehin, was sworn-in as Commissioner, Ministry of Youth Development while Florence Olasumbo Oyeyemi was sworn-in as Finance Commissioner.

Speaking durring the ceremony, the governor said: “As you are aware, Kwara State is undergoing a rebuilding process, prudence, discipline, team work and sacrifice and have been our watchwords,” he stated.

He also noted that, ” revenue is drying up, yet our administration is confronted with huge challenges of human capital and infrastructural developments and an urgent need to lift as many people as possible out of poverty.

“Every penny is being channeled to tackle this. The administration, has a duty to chart a substantial course for our state. That is why we cannot afford to be flamboyant or wasteful,”
