Two Men Remanded For Defiling of 6-Year-Old Girl in Lagos

A Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ikorodu, Lagos State, has remanded Adamu Sule, 60 and Adejoh Musa, 45, for allegedly defiling a six-year-old girl.

The two suspects were charged with defilement.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs. A.B Olagbegi-Adelabu, who refused to hear the defendants’ pleas, ordered their remand at the Lagos Correctional Centre.

Pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions’ office, the court adjourned the case to December 21.

The prosecutor, DSP Gbemileke Agoi, had earlier told the court that the defendants committed the crime on Oct. 20, at about 7:30 a.m, stating that the alleged crime was conducted at No. 3, Aunty Kenny St. Anibaba, Ikorodu, Lagos.

DSP Agoi noted that the offence violated Section 137 of the Lagos State Criminal Code.
