Le Graet said: “The world of sport, and especially football, cannot remain neutral. I certainly would not oppose the expulsion of Russia.”

Meanwhile, Czech Republic, Sweden and Poland have all failed to play against Russia in the World Cup play-offs.

The Eagles (Poland team) have been scheduled to clash against Valeri Karpin’s men (Russia team) in Moscow on the 24th of March.

And whosoever that emerge victors between the two teams would host the winners of the game between the Czechs/the Blue and Yellow (Sweden team) on the 29th of March.

Le Graet therefore agreed with the stance of the three teams who refused to go toe-to-toe with Russia.
