Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface has been selected for the Bundesliga Team of the Season, despite being sidelined for about three months due to an adductor injury.
Boniface leads the attacking line, flanked by Harry Kane and Serhou Guirassy. The 23-year-old has impressed with 11 goals and 9 assists in just 20 Bundesliga games for Leverkusen.
Joining Boniface in the Team of the Season are five of his Leverkusen teammates: Jeremie Frimpong, Jonathan Tah, Alejandro Grimaldo, Granit Xhaka, and Florian Wirtz.
