There were some initial concerns about whether Victor Osimhen and Bright Osayi-Samuel would be available, but those fears have been laid to rest. Osimhen, who played a vital role in Nigeria’s 2-0 victory over Rwanda, had to come off in the 77th minute due to fatigue.

Meanwhile, Osayi-Samuel sustained a knock late in the game, which looked like a dead leg.

However, Coach Eric Chelle has confirmed that both players are fully fit and ready to step up when Nigeria faces Zimbabwe. At a recent press conference, the Malian coach reassured fans, saying, “No problem; all the players are fine and ready for the match.”
