Other accolades issued at the award ceremony on Monday night included the team of the year, coach of the year, club of the year, and goal of the season.

Osimhen notched 26 goals to help the Partenopei secure their first league title in 33 years.

His performance also earned nominations for the FIFA Best and Balon d’Or awards.

Osimhen is also in a leading position to win the CAF African Player of The Award slated for early 2024.

Despite a tougher start to the 2023-24 campaign and recent struggles with injury, Osimhen has continued his impressive goals-per-game ratio, with six from 10 after the 14 games.
