The presidential campaign of the All Progressives Congress descended into chaos on Tuesday when an angry crowd disrupted the event in Jos, Plateau State.

Viral videos monitored by our correspondent show the angry crowd throwing banners, posters, placards and stones.

The video captions suggests that the action by the crowd may not be far from the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the ruling party.

Daily Report Nigeria recalls that the APC presidential campaign rally kicked off as the party campaigns to draw support for its Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

An APC official could be seen addressing the crowd, pleading with them to stop disrupting the event as they began throwing away banners and posters they came to the venue with.

While what led to the incident remains unclear at the time of filing this report, the APC official asked security agents not to beat up the unruly crowd.
