Men of a vigilante group at Tunga village, Tilli ward in Bunza Local Government Area of Kebbi State have neutralized a notorious kidnapper named Dogo Oro, who had been terrorizing parts of Bunza and Kalgo LGAs of the state.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi State Governor, Ahmed Idris disclosed this in a statement he issued on Friday.

Abdulrahman Usman, the Director of Security, Cabinet Office, quoting the CPS made the confirmation while giving an update on the security situation in the state.

He said, “The suspected notorious bandit appeared this morning shooting people with a bore and arrow but our vigilante men gunned him down.

“Sanusi Ibrahim-Geza, Kebbi State Commander, Vigilante has confirmed that the incident happened Friday morning as reported by their Bunza LGA Commander, C/suv Faruku Mashayabo.”

He made it known that the success recorded by the vigilante group has raised given hope to residents, saying with the killing of the terrorist, members of the community would now settle down and go about their normal businesses
