Presidency: Peter Obi May Be Impeached if Elected President – Reno Omokri

A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has suggested that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, may be impeached if elected president in 2023.

According to Omokri, the former Anambra state governor might be impeached within days of being sworn in as president because his party lacks the number of Senators to support him in the National Assembly.

The staunch ally of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in a Facebook post, Omokri urged Obi’s supporters to vote for the former Vice-president.

According to him: “We love Obidients in PDP. You are like our grandchildren. We gave birth to Peter Obi and Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, and they gave birth to you.

“A stream cannot deny its source. You guys are the stream, and we are the river that feeds you.

“In fact, Obidients should vote for Atiku, because even if they vote for Peter Obi and he becomes President, which is very unlikely to happen, he won’t last on that seat without having Senators in the Senate. He could be impeached within days of being sworn in.”
