The Indigenous People of Biafra have stated that there is no camp in Lilu, Ihiala, Anambra State. The group claimed that they are not militants or criminals and thus do not operate in secret camps.

The army announced on Tuesday, through a spokesman, that it had dislodged the IPOB and Eastern Security Networks camps in Lilu, Ihiala.

However, the IPOB Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said in a statement on Wednesday that the security agencies only used cruelty on the people living in those communities who claimed to be members of IPOB and ESN.

According to Emma Powerful, if criminals seek refuge in any community in Biafra land, they are not IPOB members.

The statement goes on to say, “In Orsumoghu, Nnewi South, Lilu Orsumenyi of Ihiala LGA of Anambra State, these criminals whose names are Emmanuel aka (Obereagu), Innocent Obiekee from Isingwu Orsumoghu, Izuchukwu from Amaduru Orsumoghu, Ofordie aka Baby, are the ones impersonating ESN These criminals, whose names are Agu, 50, Vice, and Ojoo, are impersonating ESN/IPOB members in Orlu, Imo State, to demonize IPOB and ESN members. They are sponsored by Hope Uzodinma and his co-travellers and traitors to demonize IPOB and ESN members in Imo State.

“They and their gang are collecting illegal levies in the name of ESN at the Eke-Ututu market when they are neither ESN operatives nor IPOB family members.” The proceeds are being collected from innocent communities. In the name of ESN, I am collecting N5,000 from the people of Orlu.

These names mentioned or listed in this press release have been designated as Persona Non-Grata in Biafraland and will remain so. People should stop giving them money because they are not ESN operatives or IPOB volunteers. In our territory, they have been kidnapping people, stealing cars, and raping our women.

Volunteers from IPOB and ESN have also been working to apprehend these agents of sorrow. We can’t stand by and watch these beasts created and sponsored by Hope Uzodinma and his Miyeti Allah masters destroy Biafra Land.

“Again, ESN does not write letters or make phone calls to people requesting funds, funds for what we ask?” the statement continues. IPOB and ESN have had no dealings with these criminals who are now on the ESN watchlist. “Beware, and stop sending money to them in the name of ESN or IPOB volunteers.”
