Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), has urged Nigerians to stop shooting the country down with the power of their tongues.

Speaking during an event to celebrate his 65th birthday on Saturday, Mustapha said Nigerians should stop saying the country is not working, because there is power in the tongue.

“Nigeria is known for its human and material resources. We are not where we want to be as a nation, but the craft of building nationhood is a gradual process,”

“We have had our fair share of crises, but we have overcome those crises and the future is bright.

“You see the power of life and death is in the tongue. What you say about your country is what you get.”
