Wike Declares Governorship Aspirant, Farah Dagogo Wanted

Dagogo, a governorship aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party, was declared wanted over an alleged disruption of the party’s screening exercise with cultists on Wednesday, in Port Harcourt.

Wike ordered for the police to immediately arrest the aspirants wherever he is with urgency, and be made to face the law.

In a statement through his Special Assistant on Media to the Governor of Rivers State, Kelvin Ebiri, the governor said some hoodlums have been arrested in relation to the incident.

“The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has declared Hon. Farah Dagogo wanted for hiring cultists to attack the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat in Port Harcourt.

“The governor has hereby directed the Rivers State Police Command to arrest Hon. Farah Dagogo for hiring cultists who stormed the PDP secretariat in Port Harcourt, and disrupted the screening of aspirants for various elective positions.

“The Police must as a matter of urgency arrest Farah Dagogo, wherever he is, and must be made to face prosecution.”

“Already, some of the hoodlums hired by Farah Dagogo have been arrested and will be made to face the full wrath of the law,” the statement read.
