Nigerian actor Williams Uchemba has voiced his concerns about women who demand things they can’t afford from men, suggesting that this sense of entitlement is a major reason many women remain single. In a post on his official Facebook page, Uchemba pointed out that some women’s unrealistic expectations are driving potential partners away.
He advised that instead of making demands, women should learn the art of appealing when they need something, rather than expecting men to fulfill extravagant wishes they themselves couldn’t achieve even after years of hard work.
“There’s an unwritten rule that says you shouldn’t order what you can’t afford in a restaurant,” Williams Uchemba said. He expressed concern that a growing number of women today seem to think it’s acceptable to ask for things like luxury cars or the latest iPhones from men, even if they could never afford such items themselves. He believes this behavior reflects a spirit of greed and entitlement, which he likened to the “Jezebelian spirit,” and warned that it’s an attitude that could keep many women from finding a husband.

Williams Uchemba emphasized that when a woman truly appeals to her husband for something, it’s different from making outright demands. He suggested that women who approach their relationships with a sense of entitlement are less likely to get married, regardless of how physically attractive they may be. “It’s not your looks that keep a man,” he added, explaining that qualities like character and humility are what truly matter in a lasting relationship.
