Tragedy struck in the General Hospital Ogwashi-uku as a woman in labour who was left unattended fell off the bed and died.
The lady who was rushed to the hospital late at night as she was in labour for her first child was said to have been abandoned by nurses on duty who went to sleep as the lady’s caregiver went home to get the necessary items for delivery.
The Care-Giver was however shocked as she returned to the hospital only to find her sister dead on the floor while the nurses were sleeping.

There have been series of cases of negligence at the General Hospital Ogwashi-uku as the medical personnel in the hospital have been accused severally of abandoning their duties.
A video shared by Inside Delta showed the woman lying lifeless while the person behind the camera lamented over the lackadaisical attitude of personel at the Ogwashi-Uku General Hospital.
In another story, an overzealous bouncer has been arrested for stabbing a teenage boy who attempted to pick money sprayed on a couple to death in the Udu area of Delta state.
