A group of Nigerians, united under the “Alliance For Emancipation and True Change,” held a peaceful protest in the United Kingdom (UK), urging President Bola Tinubu to ensure the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) remains impartial and doesn’t become a tool for political persecution.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the demonstration, organized by supporters of Yahaya Bello, coincided with a separate protest allegedly sponsored by the opposition in Kogi State, also in London.
The alliance criticized the opposition candidate, Murtala Ajaka, for allegedly sponsoring a misleading and counterproductive protest.
