Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev Father Ejike Mbaka has revealed that Nigeria is cursed with bad leadership.

The religious leader made this disclosure when he delivered his first sermon at the Church praying ground on Friday, December 13.

The controversial cleric however said Nigeria is blessed with everything.

He said:

“Nigeria is blessed with everything but cursed with bad leadership.”

Notwithstanding, he declared 2023 the year of favour while praying that the congregants would not labour in vain.

Recall that the outspoken Catholic priest was moved out of the Adoration ministry following his suspension.

Most Rev Callistus Onaga, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, suspended Father Mbaka on June 3 2022 over an alleged comment on partisan politics.

The church was closed down over Mbaka’s statement against the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.

The Catholic Diocese of Enugu banned Mbaka from commenting on political issues and transferred him to a monastery.

Thus, Rev Fr Anthony Amadi was named to replace him (Mbaka) as the new chaplain of the Adoration Ministry Chaplaincy.
