2023: Sowore Asks Osinbajo To Resign

A popular Nigerian activist, Omoyele Sowore has asked the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo to resign.

This is coming following President Muhammadu Buhari’s order, asking all his cabinet members aspiring for political offices in the forthcoming general elections to tender their resignation letter on, or before May 16th.

In a tweet, Sowore, a 2023 presidential aspirant, called on the VP who is also contesting for the presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC to resign to allow for a level playing field for all aspirants.

According to him: “It is good that @Mbuhari has asked his ministers contesting elections to resign, but it is also fair, ethical and I ask that Chief @ProfOsinbajo MUST resign as well so that there is a level playing field for all aspirants”.
