- Saint Obi: A Nigerian actor, film producer, and film director. He was 57 years old.

- Peace Anyiam-Osigwe: A renowned filmmaker, founder of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), and former president of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP).
- Baba Feyikogbon: A veteran in the Nollywood industry. He was 80 years old.
- Favour Daniels: A young actress known as Omoge, Oma, and Amama who gained popularity through her skits on social media. The 26-year-old died in a boat accident.
- Fadeyi Oloro: An actor whose death was announced by his daughter Fasunwon Oluwafunke. He was 66 years old.
- Murphy Afolabi: The actor, producer, and director passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. He was known for his roles in movies such as “Omo Mushin” and “Iyawo Obun.” He was 49 years old.
- MohBad: A Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter who was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records.” He died on September 12. was 27 years old.
- Chris Mba: A veteran pop musician.
- Femi Ogunrombi (Papa Ajasco): He played the role of Papa Ajasco, a character known for his pot belly and hitting his head while saying “ojigbigbigbi” in the TV comedy series Papa Ajasco and company by Wale Adenuga Production. He died on the 14th of January, 2023 due to an undisclosed cause at the age of 65.
- Chikezie Uwazie. Chikezie Uwazie died in the United States of America a few after a second brain surgery.
- Don Brymo. Don Brymo was said to have passed on in his sleep. He was 56 years old.
