According to reports from Marca, Zinedine Zidane is currently in discussions with Bayern Munich regarding the possibility of becoming their next manager. The Bundesliga club is on the hunt for a new head coach following the announcement that Thomas Tuchel will step down at the end of the season.

Bayern had previously pursued Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso for the role, but the former player declined the offer. Alonso has expressed his desire to continue with Bayer Leverkusen, indicating his intention to stay with the club beyond the current season.

Zinedine Zidane, who last coached Real Madrid at the end of the 2020/21 season, has expressed his interest in returning to management. Now, Bayern Munich is considering him for the vacant managerial position.
