On Friday, May 17, 2024, Vice President Kashim Shettima will preside over a high-level discussion aimed at building on the progress made during the first year of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
The event is part of the Tinubu administration’s efforts to harness international collaboration in achieving the goals of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to Senator Ibrahim Hadejia, Deputy Chief of Staff to the President in the Office of the Vice President, who addressed a press conference at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the event will assess the administration’s accomplishments over the past year and identify areas for further consolidation.
Tinubu and Shettima were inaugurated on May 29, 2023, after winning the 2023 presidential election on the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket, defeating candidates such as Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
