Chijioke Mbaoma has been named the Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Season.
The 21-year-old received the prestigious honor at the League Bloggers award ceremony in Lagos.
Mbaoma scored an impressive 18 goals in the 2023-24 NPFL season, edging out Sikiru Alimi of Remo Stars and Albert Hilary of Plateau United for the award.
His performance was pivotal in helping Enyimba secure a CAF Confederation Cup slot on the final day of the season.
Mbaoma’s stellar season has garnered interest from top international clubs.
