Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang made history by scoring a brace as Barcelona humiliated Valencia in a LaLiga 4-1 victory.
The Blaugrana gave José Bordalása’s men a thumping beating at Estadio Mestalla in a match handled by the Spanish referee, Carlos del Cerro.
The Gabon striker scored the two goals in the 23rd and 38th minutes.

OptaJose reported the 32-year-old now becomes the second Barca player to score two goals in his 1st LaLiga start in the 21st century.
The first footballer to set the record is the Portuguese winger, Francisco Trincão who netted twice in Barca’s 5-1 win against Alavés at Camp Nou in February last year.
Meanwhile, Frenkie de Jong doubled Blaugrana’s lead with a goal in the 32nd minute and Pedri grabbed his side’s last goal three minutes after hour-mark.

The hosts also had one of their goals cancelled in Carlos Soler’s header seven minutes into the second half.
Following the victory on Sunday, Xavi’s team has jumped back into the La Liga’s top four.
With one match at hand, Barcelona are now up to 4th position on 42 points and four points behind third-placed Real Betis.
Aubameyang will now want to build on today’s performance when his team take on Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday.
