Court Stops IYC Central Zone Elections | Daily Report Nigeria

The Federal High Court sitting in the Ogbia Judicial Division, Bayelsa State has barred the Ijaw Youth Council elections of Central Zone from taking place.

In an order with suit number OHC/23/2020, Justice Ajuwa restrained Kennedy Olorogun, a former Chairman of the zone, Ekisah Arerepade, the Electoral Committee Chairman and seven others from conducting the elections.

Upon the ORDER EX PARTE INJUNCTION, the court declared Comr Isaac Moguana Odual as Acting Chairman and Comr Anki Bestman as the Acting Secretary IYC Central Zone.
