2023: Pro-Pondi Groups Parley, Galvanize Support For Lawmaker

Support groups of Julius Pondi, lawmaker representing Burutu Federal Constituency, have kick-started processes to ensure victory for their principal.

This is as the Pondifed Ambassadors, Julius Pondi Crusaders and the Julius Pondi Media team met and parleyed over the weekend.

The groups expressed commitment to the course, vowing to galvanize more support for the lawmaker ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Using the results gathered by their cumulative inputs during the primaries, the groups demonstrated readiness to gear on.

Coordinator of the Julius Pondi Crusaders, Comrade Timi Jebbah, in his presentation, expressed delight at the opportunity availed him and his team to work for a progressive course such as the one they are involved with.

He noted that the JPC was ready to outdo it’s contributions during the campaign for the primaries.

“Personally, I am grateful for the privilege to serve in this course, and I’m happy all delivered on the expectations on us during the primaries.

“We’re committed and are ready to deliver more. Our efforts are not self-driven but for the entire Burutu. We’ve seen the efforts of Pondi and are ready to contribute our quota for him to achieve more success,” Jebbah said.

On her part, the Chairperson of the Pondified Ambassadors, Mrs Elizabeth Tongha Ekpemupolo noted that the group has been able to conquer new territories as a result of its vigorous efforts during the primaries.

Mrs Ekpemupolo stressed that the upcoming campaigns will not be business as usual.

“We have conquered new territories and individuals by way of our efforts during the campaigns on social media.

“As Pondified ambassadors, we’ve won over many souls to the side of the lawmaker.

“For the main election, our campaigns will be taken beyond the social media, to our various units and we are sure of victory,” she said.

The lawmaker, who was represented by Emmanuel Akpule, poured encomiums on the groups for their vehement support over the years.

He advised that though, the impeccable of record of the lawmaker is obvious to eve the blind, all hands must be on deck to ensure victory.

“I appreciate the confidence and love entrusted on my person. On behalf of Hon. Pondi and the campaign team, we appreciate everyone.

“It is difficult to sell your principal when he is not delivering, but the record of our principal is very clean,” Akpule said.

On the 2023 elections, Akpule stressed on the need for more mobilization and spread.

“We need to mobilize more. Let’s preach the message of Pondi to the people. Before the campaigns kick off, more strategies for will be implemented,” he added.
