Daily Report Nigeria recalls that the Delta Ijaw Youths had backed the unveiling and adoption of Oborevwori as sole governorship candidate for the 2023 election by Ijaw leaders back in December 2022.

The group also declared that its mandate is to carry out the declaration of the elders to the latter.

Intimating Takeme of its mandate, the group’s spokesperson, Comrade Augustine Okporu said the resolution of the elders is what the youths are running with for 2023.

He said;
“The PDP remains the only party with the interest of Ijaw people at heart. And as far as Ijaws are concerned, Sheriff Oborevwori is our only option.
