A heavy fire outbreak has erupted at the popular Ogbe-Ijoh Market in Warri, Delta State.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the incident occurred deep into the night on Tuesday.
According to eyewitnesses, the inferno started around 11 pm and lasted for long hours as residents struggled to curtail the raging fire.
In what has become a yearly routine in the market, the latest incident has been described as the most destructive ever recorded in the history of the market.
