While the probe request by the APC was contained in a statement signed by the party’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekina Nabena, in Abuja on Saturday, it stated that it was instructive to note that the suspect, Hushpuppi, was arrested in Dubai, which was a destination of choice for most top-ranking PDP members prior to the 2019 general elections.

It further demanded the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, and other sister agencies to investigate the money laundering reports linking some top-ranking PDP members to the Dubai-based internet fraudster, Hushpuppi.
