Army Arrests Boko Haram Supplier in Yobe

Nigerian Army troops of Sector 2 Joint Task Force under Operation HADIN KAI disclosed it apprehended one Yusuf Saleh, a suspected Boko Haram fertilizer supplier in Yobe state.

Saleh was arrested at Bayamari village in Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe, following credible intelligence.

According to Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, Army spokesman, thirty eight 50kg bags of urea were recovered from the suspect.

Saleh is being interrogated by investigators.

Urea had been banned by the government because insurgents use it to make Improvised Explosive Devices (IED).
