Liverpool manager Arne Slot admitted that his team’s decision-making and execution were “not good enough” following their 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Despite a strong start to the season with three Premier League wins, Liverpool fell short at home as Callum Hudson-Odoi scored in the second half to secure the win for Forest.
After the match, Slot reflected on the game, saying, “It was a stop-start game, and we barely created any chances. We need to look at ourselves and improve. We lost the ball too often around the area, and our performance with the ball wasn’t up to standard.”

He acknowledged that although the defense was generally solid, the introduction of quick players from Forest made it challenging. “We took a lot of risks, and ultimately, it was a very good goal,” Slot added.
