Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala, has set another record by becoming the first Bay FC player to score a penalty in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

Oshoala netted the decisive goal in Bay FC’s 1-0 win against Racing Louisville, calmly sending the goalkeeper the wrong way from the spot 14 minutes from time.

This follows her scoring Bay FC’s first-ever goal on her debut in the USA. The former Barcelona player has now scored three goals for Bay FC since joining the club.

Her international teammate, Uchenna Kanu, did not make Racing Louisville’s matchday squad for the game.
