Bukola Saraki Arrested by EFFC
Former Senate President, Bukola Sataki has reportedly been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFFC.
According to reports, the former Kwara state governor is in the EFCC’s custody owing to allegations bordering on money laundering and theft.
Daily Report Nigeria gathered Saraki was detained on Saturday, in a move that is likely to unpack fresh series of troubles for the former lawmaker.

This will not be the first time the erstwhile governor will be facing corrupt allegations.
From 2015 to 2019, Saraki was fingered with various allegations of corruption, as well as false declaration of his assets. However, he was let off the hook by the Supreme Court in 2018.
Mr Saraki is expected to provide answers on alleged laundering of public funds using a reported network of cronies and proxy companies and theft.
