The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.

Prof Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB’s Registrar, made the announcement during a press conference at the board’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, on Monday.

According to Oloyede, a total of 1.94 million candidates registered and took the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centers across Nigeria.

He disclosed that the examination, which took place from April 19 to April 29, 2024, saw a brief delay in result release to ensure thorough scrutiny and credibility of the results, addressing concerns related to impersonation, mixed biometrics, and other forms of malpractice.
