Breaking: One Dead as Delta Confirms 3 new Coronavirus Cases

The Delta state government on Sunday evening announced that the state recorded three new coronavirus cases of the novel coronavirus.

Making the announcement was the state’s Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, who took to his official Facebook page to reveal the new figures.

Mr Aniagwu’s announcement which came in at about 9:48pm on Sunday night was a guided attempt to update Deltans on the current state of things with regards to the coronavirus pandemic in the state.

The Commissioner’s post thus stated that one out of the three confirmed cases already died, causing a rise in the number of casualties recorded by the state.

With the new figures, the state’s total confirmed cases of the lethal virus is pinned at 83, with eight deaths and seventeen discharged patients.

Meanwhile, Nigeria finally crossed the ten thousand mark for confirmed cases of the dreaded coronavirus on Sunday.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, the most populous black nation recorded 307 cases on Sunday May 31.

Thus, the country’s total figures bow stand at 10162, with 3007 discharged cases and 287 deaths.
