Buhari Dissolves Cabinet

Nigeria’s outgoing President, Muhammadu Buhari has officially dissolved the Federal Executive Council (FEC), bringing the current administration to a close.

The announcement was made through a memo issued late on Sunday night.

The FEC was made up of esteemed officials, including the president, vice president, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the president’s Chief of Staff, Head of Service, and Ministers.

Previously during the valedictory session held at the State House Council Chamber on Wednesday, the President expressed his gratitude to all the ministers for their unwavering commitment to pursuing the goals of the administration.

Buhari again commended the ministers for working closely together, despite numerous obstacles and challenges, and for sustaining the synergy that resulted in many achievements.

The outgoing President said;

I am proud to say we gave our best.”

He also urged support for the incoming President, Bola Tinubu.
