Chelsea have finalized the acquisition of Spanish goalkeeper Robert Sanchez from Brighton and Hove Albion for £25 million, which includes add-ons and a sell-on clause.
The official statement from Chelsea confirms that Sanchez has signed a seven-year contract and will soon be joining the first-team squad at Cobham.
Aged 25, Sanchez will provide cover and competition for Spain’s fellow international goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga.
