Two sons to the Chief Judge of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko have emerged winners of National Assembly tickets in the just concluded primary elections, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The two sons of the CJN grabbed the tickets of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Siraj Ibrahim Tanko, one Justice Tanko’s sons, clinched the All Progressives Congress’ ticket for the Bauchi North Senatorial seat.

Ibrahim Tanko reported defeated the incumbent lawmaker of the Bauchi North Senatorial District, Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa.
Daily Report Nigeria gathered that Siraj scored a total of 189 votes to ahead of his closest opponent, Imba, who polled 177 votes.
The incumbent, Aramu Bulkachuwa, however, did not score any vote.
Chief Justice Tanko’s second son, Sani Ibrahim Tanko, also won the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party for Shira Giafe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
ISani Ibrahim Tanko is said to have been elected unopposed to clinch the ticket.
