Prior to the suspension, Sevilla’s forward, Alejandro Gomez has registered the first goal in the match to his name before the hosts’s forward, Nabil Fekir caused the game to level after four minutes.

In the course of celebration by Los Verdiblancos, the 27-year-old Jordan was hit on the head by an object from the crowd.

Following that, Los Nervionenses’ players alongside their manager, Julen Lopetegui dissented.

Instantaneously, the Spanish player was attended to by Physios, with the Spanish referee leading the players off the pitch.

Subsequently, Spanish football’s governing body (RFEF) declared that the match had been suspended.

The federation’s statement read: “The RFEF condemns any act of violence on the playing fields.”

The Seville derby is well-known for being one of the most heated rivalries in Spain.

Meanwhile, Rojiblancos’ boss, Juande Ramos had also been knocked out with a bottle thrown by a fan of the Green-and-Whites in 2007.
