The National Association of Delta State Students, NADESTU, has called on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to sack his Senior Special Assistant on Student Affairs, Comrade Ehiwarior Jerry.
In a statement signed by Comrade Godwin Oyovweadjebre Saturday and Comrade Gideon Etere, President and Secretary respectively, the Students decried the unpatriotic attitude of Comrade Jerry.
NADESTU emphasized that the SSA’s behavior has attracted hatred and more enemies to the incumbent administration.

The Students also accused Comrade Jerry of embezzling funds released by the Delta State Government, for the use of the entire Comrade Community in the state.
They further called for a check on his activities as a Senior Special Assistant on Student Affairs.
The letter which copied the State’s Department of State Services Director and Commissioner Of Police reads;
A Call For the Immediate Removal of Comrade Ehiwarior Jerry as the Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Delta State on Students Affairs and a Critical Check into his Office for Series of approvals he has gotten on behalf of the Delta State Comrade community.
Your Excellency, the Students and Comrades Community for some time now have been very unhappy with the present administration, it has been our believe that His Excellency care less about his children, little did we know that his Excellency have been making series of approvals for the community which has constantly been pocketed by a wicked man who do not want the growth of the community but just the betterment of his pockets thereby making it seem Okowa is not doing anything for the Community, and has birthed hatred and anger for the Okowa led administration.
Your Excellency, a man who collects from the Government in the name of the Community and comes to lie to the community is unfit to represent the Community. We have been tagged as ‘ungrateful’ for not showing signs of gratitude despite His Excellency’s series of approval.
We are also calling on His Excellency to do a proper cum clinical audit on the office of the SSA on Students Affairs since 2015 as regards the series of approval made for the Commrade Community which includes, but not limited to:
1. SEGMENT OF INTERACTIVE TOWN HALL MEETINGS WITH VARIOUS ORGANS OF THE COMMRADE COMMUNITY
a) First Edition (Twenty Million Naira #20,000,000)
b) Second Edition (Twenty Million Naira #20,000,000)
2. FIRST EVER DELTA STATE STUDENTS JOINT CHRISTIAN CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP (JCCF) PRAYER CONFERENCE
a) First Edition (Three Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira #3,500,000)
b) Second Edition (Three Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira #3,500,000)
c) Third Edition (Five Million Naira #5,000,000)
3. END OF YEAR SUMMIT/4TH EDITION OF DELTA STATE COMRADES COMMUNITY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT.

Your Excellency, you are a good father with good intentions for his children, we are only being represented by the wrong person, this is why the SSA should be removed so the community can feel and appreciate your Fatherly love towards us.
Your Excellency we await your soonest action as the community is boiling with anger and are already making plans to take to the streets and we may not be able to hold them for too long.
