DTHA: Okowa’s Daughter, Marilyn Wins Ika North-East Constituency

Marilyn Okowa-Daramola, daughter of the Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has won the Ika North/East Constituency seat for the Delta State House of Assembly on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Marilyn who won in the Saturday election got 5035 votes out of the 5,298 valid votes in the Constituency.

Also, the governorship candidate of the PDP, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori won the guber poll in Ika North-East Local Government Area.

Report has it that Oborevwori polled a total of 26, 760 votes to beat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege who garnered 4, 733 votes while Labour got 1,990 in the local government area.
