Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, is on the verge of joining Barcelona amidst the January transfer window.
Sky Sports reported that Blaugrana are still communicating with Mikel Arteta’s side over the signing of the Gabon striker.
However, Barca do not have interest in the signing of the 32-year-old on a permanent transfer but on loan.

Meanwhile, Barcelona and Arsenal have not yet reached a compromise, there is still possibility that the deal can be sealed before the closure of January transfer window.
Xavi’s side would not have an option to make Aubameyang’s switch permanent, and discussions continue over how much of Aubameyang’s wages they would cover.

The former Borussia Dortmund star would be spending the rest of this season at Barca should the deal is eventually done.
Recall, Aubameyang has since suffered humiliation following his disciplinary breach.
The breach resulted in stripping him of the club’s captain band.
Not only that, he was also banned by Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta from playing any further for the club’s first-team.
Aubameyang was last seen in action for the Gunners on the 6th of December last year, when they lost 2-1 to Everton.
