EPL: Former Tottenham Star Charges Chelsea to Sign Pogba

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker, Darren Bent has urged Chelsea to sign Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba.

The 37-year-old held that the best of ex-Juventus star is seen whenever he’s paired with Chelsea midfielder, NGolo Kante in the midfield for France’s national team.

Pogba who captained France to victory at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup has heavily been linked with a move from Old Trafford at the expiration of his contract at the end of the ongoing season.

The Frenchman who was named in the PFA Team of the Year in the 2018/2019 season is now reluctant to extend his contract with the club.

Meanwhile, he has not played for United since the German manager, Ralf Rangnick took charge at Old Trafford.

Pogba has been linked with a move to Carlo Ancelotti’s side, Real Madrid, Mauricio Pochettino’ PSG and Juventus where he left to join Manchester United.

That said, Bent asked the Champions League holders, Chelsea to compete and complete the signing of the United star.

Bent told talkSPORT: “When Paul Pogba plays alongside Kante, he looks a completely different player!”

“If they were to go and sign him, Chelsea, wow, that midfield three. But again, he doesn’t really score enough goals.”
