Wolverhampton Wanderers boss, Bruno Lage has declared that Manchester United forward, Christiano Ronaldo will be welcomed to play under him.

There have been suppositions that the 36-year-old was not happy at the club and the tendency that he might leave Old Trafford.

Therefore, the former Benfica manager has shown interest in signing the 5x Balon D’ Or winner should he leave Manchester United.

The 45-year-old coach is an admirer of the former Juventus star who he described as a ‘machine’.

Lage revealed this ahead of Manchester United’s league clash with Wolves at the Old Trafford on the 3rd of January 2022.

Lage believes no club in the world would not love to have Ronaldo in their squad despite the Red Devils’ deplorable position.

Lage said: “He’s a machine. He just wants to score and score and score. He lives for that. He’s a massive player and every team in the world would want him.”

“It’s football and everyone has an opinion. But if United aren’t happy with him then I have a place for him here, but I know they are happy with him.”

“He started playing at the top level very young and he’s just continued at the same level.”
