Trent Alexander-Arnold who plays as a right back for Liverpool has declared that he would rather quit playing football instead of playing for Manchester United.

The 23-year-old disclosed this in advance of side’s league encounter with Tottenham on Sunday evening.

Undoubtedly, the Reds (Liverpool) and the Red Devils (Manchester United) are the most prosperous clubs in England.

Yet, the enmity between both of them is certainly unquantifiable.

The England international told Sky Sport when asked whether he would retire or join United: “Right now, [I would] retire, to be honest, could not do that [join Manchester United].”

Arnold has tremendously made impact at Anfield and his contribution to his side’s 5-0 win over United in October can never be underrated.

Meanwhile, Jurge Klopp’s team sits just a point next to league leaders, Manchester City and 13 points above sixth-placed Manchester United.
