Former Super Eagles star, Nwankwo Kanu has reacted to Arsenal’s 1-0 triumph over Watford on Sunday.

The Arsenal Legend delightedly posted his picture at the Emirates Stadium on his Twitter handle.

Alongside the picture, the 46-year-old captioned: “3 points in the bag. Common Arsenal. Congratulations. #arsvswatford @arsenal @premierleague.”

Kudos to Emile Smith Rowe who gave his side all three points against Claudio Ranieri’s men at the Emirates Stadium.

Although, the goal was a controversial one as Danny Rose of Watford had initially put the ball out of play so that his teammate, Ozan Tufan could receive treatment.

However, Arsenal opted to play on from the throw-in rather than giving the ball back to Watford- an opportunity ceased by Smith Rowe to score in the 56th minute.

Mikel Arteta’s men who had dropped to the bottom of the table after a 5-0 defeat against Manchester City on the 28th of August increased the tempo thenceforth to move up to 5th after picking up 20 points in the last 8 league matches.

Following Sunday’s win, Arsenal has moved to just 6 within six points behind league leaders, Chelsea.

After the international break, Arsenal will be traveling to Anfield on Saturday, 20th of November, to take on fourth-placed Liverpool in week 12 of the league campaign.
