Ex-Senate President, Adolphus Wabara Appointed PDP BoT Chairman

A former Senate President, Senator Adolphus Wabara, has been appointed as acting Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Wabara’s appointment is coming on the heels of the abrupt resignation of Walid Jibrin earlier on Thursday.

He was also named the Political Adviser to the National Chairman of the PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu.

Prior to his appointment, Wabara was the Secretary of the PDP BoT, and is expected to be appointed to the Presidential Campaign Council of the PDP.

Meanwhile, a source is quoted as saying;

“The Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, will also resign shortly as the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum.”
