Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Monday swore in the just elected Chairmen of the twenty five local government areas in the state.

The twenty five council chairmen emerged victorious at the March 6 election that held across the state.

The Delta State Independent Electoral Commission had announced on Sunday that candidates of the People’s Democratic Party won all the 25 chairman positions as well as the 500 councillor positions in the state.

While all the tweny-five Council Chairmen are males, seventeen females were also sworn-in as Vice Chairmen.
