'Governance is Service to People,' Amb Nwangwu Tells African Leaders | Daily Report Nigeria

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Lightworld and Industries Group, Amb Dcn Anthony Nwangwu has called on African leaders to live up to the responsibilities they were elected for.

Nwangwu stated while playing host to the Global Good Governance Ambassadors Award/Summit 2021 team at his office in Warri, Delta Stare.

The revered entrepreneur emphasized that Africa can only be a better place for citizens when public office holders wake up to duty.

Speaking on the essence of good governance, Nwangwu said, “good governance is a service to people. Governance from the local to the federal level must reflect absolute service to the people.”

The Warri-based youth development advocate is a recipient of the award of Distinguished Entrepreneur in Real Estate and Interior Services at the Global Good Governance Ambassadors Award/Summit 2021.

The prestigious event is billed for October 28, 2021 at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

The event is put together by the MK Ultimate Magazine and Mayor Kings Agency is aimed at promoting good governance policies and humanitarian services in Nigeria.

The event also will feature a Symposium with the Theme: Repositioning Good Governance Mentality For Global Impact.

Recipients of the Award will also be inducted into the Global Good Governance Ambassadors Forum Hall Of Fame.

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, his Edo and Niger states counterparts, Godwin Obaseki and Abubakar Sanni Bello, Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, Senator Theodore Orji, Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat all form a long list of recipients of the awards.
