Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hinted that his time with the Premier League champions might be nearing its end. Speaking on Sunday after City’s 3-1 victory over West Ham secured their fourth consecutive title, Guardiola revealed, “I’m closer to leaving than staying.”
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss, who has now won the English top flight six times, has one year left on his contract at the Etihad. He admitted that he has yet to make a decision about his future.
“The reality is, I’m closer to leaving than to staying,” he told Sky Sports.

“It’s eight years; it will be nine. Right now, my feeling is I want to stay next season. We talked with the club. We have time to talk next season because I have to see the players as well; if they follow me, they follow us.”
