The woman, who is said to be an housemaid is alleged to have stolen jewelry worth thousands of dollars.
Ths Lagos state police command have arrested one Alice Udey, 33, for stealing from her employer.
According to reports, she was said to have been employed as a maid, but proceeded to steal jewelry worth over $60,000 in under 24 hours of working with the family.
It was gathered that all efforts to locate her proved abortive as she disappeared into thin air with the item.

The police officials confirmed her arrest, noting that she was taken into custody on Sunday, October 27 at the Ikoyi Police station in Lagos.

Before her arrest, the police carried out an extensive 16-month search that has exposed what authorities suspect is an organised crime ring targeting rich Nigerian households.
The suspect is expected to face charges related to theft while investigation continues.
